If you’ve tried to make a donation to a RallyUp campaign but your credit card was declined, you may have some questions about what went wrong. A credit card can be declined for a number of different reasons, such as a discrepancy in your card information or security measures put in place by your bank. For example, some credit card companies will flag a transaction that might look like fraudulent activity, even if it was a legitimate transaction attempted by the cardholder.

For your privacy, the credit card processor doesn’t provide RallyUp with transaction details when they’re unable to authorize a card. This is privileged information that is available only to you.

We recommend contacting your bank or credit company; they’ll be able to provide you with more details about the declined transaction and/or information about how to troubleshoot the issue.
