When running a raffle or sweepstakes on RallyUp, you have several options in your campaign setup menu for how you want to notify winners. You can:

  • Automatically notify the winners by email on a specified date and time
  • Manually notify winners in your own way, without using RallyUp

Which one should I choose?

The automatic method is best when you've also enabled the option for RallyUp to automatically draw your winner(s). It's the most hassle-free method for closing out your drawing. This is the default setting for raffle and sweepstakes fundraisers.

The manual method is best paired when you're doing a manual drawing without RallyUp, or if you have a special way to notify winner(s) that doesn't involve email.
